Website Re-designing for an Engineering and Manufacturing Company

About Our Client

Our client is a leading global design, engineering, and manufacturing company which provides technology solutions catering to industries that include Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemicals, etc. The company has served the Oil & Gas industry for nearly four decades with their in-house engineering and manufacturing facilities certified by major International Operating Companies and accreditation organizations.

Problem Statement

The official website of the client was developed many years back using HTML and the design and content both were completely outdated.

The client has to attend an international event in middle-east and was concerned that the old website would hamper the brand image within the audience that would enquire about their services.

Objective

Our objective was to re-design and construct a new and responsive website with updated content. The challenge was that the client wanted the new website up and running in just 4 days as the event was round the corner.

Strategy Used

Due to a very tight deadline, Netilly allocated one project manager, two web developers and one graphic designer on the project.
The tasks were divided between the team so that work could be carried out in parallel.
The website design was based on the new branding guidelines and brand colours.
Appropriate product, package and service images were shortlisted from Shutterstock and the website content was updated in consultation with the client.
An iterative approach was deployed where the team would review the progress every 12 hours. An SSL certificate was also purchased and made live as the earlier website was not secure.

Results Achieved

The re-designed website was made live 12 hours before the start of the event to the satisfaction of the client.
